My ad does not show up on the site?

If your advert's status is 'Live' but the advert is not appearing when you try to search for it. Check that the words you are searching for appear in the text of your advert and ensure that the spelling is correct.

How do I modify or remove my advert?

There is currently no option to modify your ad after it has been posted. However, if there is a serious mistake made and you want it changed then please feel free to contact us directly and we will get it updated as quickly as possible. Ads will be removed automatically after they have expired. Again, should you need something to be removed urgently then get in touch and we will intervene manually.

Is this service free?

Yes, you can post any number of ads free for 30 days. Featured Ads are available at GBP 9.99 for 30 days. (These ads stay at the top of the page)

How will people contact me?

You can receive responses either by telephone or via our internal messaging system. Your telephone number is on display to potential buyers. However, we never display your email address due to spamming issues.

How do I pay for an item?

It is for the buyer and seller to decide on a mutually agreeable method of payment and this will depend on whether you are buying face to face or from a distance. If buying from a distance, you might want to consider paying by PayPal as they often provide compensation should you not receive the item or if it is significantly not as described.

My PayPal account was charged twice.

If you think you have been charged twice, please contact us and let us know the Invoice ID on each payment so we can look into this further. You will see this on the details page for the transaction in your Paypal account.

I am having problems logging in

First thing to check is if there is a red error message at the top of the page.

Error Message: Invalid Email Address

In this case, double check that your email address has been entered correctly. Make sure there are no spaces, no extra dots. Also:

In order to ensure the best possible security, passwords ARE case sensitive. Therefore, mypassword is different to MyPassword.

If you are having problems with your password, you can reset it using the link "Forget your password" within the login section.
